Arizona Diamondbacks DFS SPIN
Evan Longoria (back) suffered a setback in his recovery from a back strain and has returned to Arizona for further evaluation. Longoria landed on the injured list with a lower back strain in late July, and he was expected to be a quick stint on the IL. However, while traveling with the team to San Francisco, he felt his back “tighten up,” and he was sent back to Arizona to be reevaluated by team doctors. While Longoria is on the shelf, Emmanuel Rivera and Jace Peterson will split time at the hot corner.

Nelson is 6-5 with a 4.84 ERA and has allowed two runs or fewer in five of his past seven starts. That said, the Diamondbacks have scored just 17 runs over their past eight games while getting shutout twice. On the other side, Maeda is just 2-6 with a 4.53 ERA but has been terrific of late. While the under is tempting and offers more value, I’m taking the Twins.
