Salvador Perez went 4-for-4 with a solo homer and four RBI on Friday, leading the Royals to a 12-8 win over the Cardinals. Perez put together one of his strongest performances at the dish this season on Friday evening, kicking off the scoring with a two-run double in the opening frame. He also added a solo homer off Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright in the second inning — his 18th long ball of the season — and also added an RBI single in the seventh inning, just for good measure.
