St. Louis Cardinals DFS Notes
Nolan Arenado smacked a two-run home run and reached base three times Monday as the Cardinals downed the Brewers. Arenado followed Tyler O’Neill’s two-out single in the top of the first inning by jumping on a first-pitch fastball from Freddy Peralta, putting it just over the left field wall. The two-run shot pushed Arenado past the century mark in RBI for the season, as he now sits at 101, which trails only Adam Duvall in the National League. Arenado also had a single and a walk in this one.
Milwaukee Brewers DFS Notes
Avisail Garcia belted a long solo home run in his return to the lineup Monday. Making his first start in nearly a week due to a back issue, Garcia put the Brewers on the board in the second inning with a 418-foot shot to center field off of Jon Lester. Luis Urias would also go deep in the frame, but those were the only runs the Brewers managed. Garcia is up to a career-high 28 bombs.
