Milwaukee Brewers DFS SPIN
Willy Adames went 2-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored, three RBI, and a walk in a 8-4 win over the Mets on Sunday. Adames had a big day on Sunday as the Brewers clinched the division with the win over the Mets. He took Carlos Carrasco deep for a two run shot in the first inning. After drawing a walk in the second, he came around to score on a base hit by Eduardo Escobar. Adames added a base hit in the fourth before reaching on a throwing error in the sixth before crossing the plate once more. The 26-year-old shortstop has been tremendous for the Brewers, hitting .289 with 19 homers since joining the team on May 22.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS Spin
Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Adam Wainwright and the Cardinals “are encouraged by introductory negotiations” regarding a contract for 2022. Goold adds that the two sides “are hopeful they’ll agree on a contract in the near future for the veteran’s return.” Wainwright has already said that he will pitch for another season, and him re-upping with the Cards looks to be a formality at this point. The 40-year-old is making $8 million this season, plus $3 million in incentives that he seems likely to reach.
