Austin Riley came through with a game-tying RBI double off of Julio Urias in the eighth inning on Sunday as the Braves rallied to beat the Dodgers in Game 2 of the NLCS. The Braves entered the eighth inning faced with a 4-2 deficit, but after a single by Eddie Rosario and an RBI knock by Ozzie Albies, Riley smacked the game-tying RBI double off of Julio Urias to make it a 4-4 ballgame. The 24-year-old third baseman finished the night 1-for-3 plus a walk and is now slashing .364/.417/.682 with a pair of homers and four RBI on the postseason.
Los Angeles Dodgers DFS Notes
Walker Buehler revealed Monday that he got sick in San Francisco while the Dodgers were there for Game 5 of the NLDS. Buehler wouldn’t reveal any additional details but says that he’s feeling fine now and is ready to roll for Game 3 of the NLCS. The right-hander will be pitching on six days’ rest after he started Game 4 of the NLDS on three days’ rest.
Dodgers vs. Braves Game 3 NLCS Betting Prediction
The Braves are 18-40 in their last 58 games versus the Dodgers and are 17-35 in their last 52 games at Dodger Stadium. They’re also 1-4 in their last five playoff games as an underdog and are 1-4 in their last five League Championship games. The Dodgers, meanwhile, are 40-13 in their last 53 games as a home favorite and are 45-15 in their last 60 games overall.
