Kyle Tucker had a productive day at the plate as the Astros dropped Game 2 of the ALCS to the Red Sox, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a stolen base. Tucker got the Astros on the board with a run-scoring double off of Nathan Eovaldi in the fourth inning, making it a 9-1 ballgame. He would come around to score on an RBI single by Yuli Gurriel later in the frame. Tucker also singled off of Adam Ottavino in the sixth inning and swiped second base, but was stranded there. He’s having a nice postseason, hitting .280/.280/.600 with three homers, eight RBI and three stolen bases.
Boston Red Sox DFS Spin
Red Sox manager Alex Cora announced Sunday that left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez will start Game 3 of the ALCS against the Astros on Monday evening in Boston. Cora noted that Nick Pivetta will be available out of the bullpen for that one, but if he isn’t used then he’s likely to start Game 4. Rodriguez struggled in Game 1 of the ALDS against the Rays, allowing two runs in just 1 2/3 innings, but he rebounded nicely in Game 4 of that series, striking out six over five innings of two-run ball. If he doesn’t look to have it early though, Cora has shown that he won’t be afraid to use a quick hook.

The over is a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams, is 5-0 in the Astros’ last five games overall and is 4-0 in the last four times Houston is listed as the road underdog. On the other side, the over is 5-0 in the Red Sox’ last five games overall, is 7-0 in their last seven games versus opponents from the Al West and is 10-1-1 in their last 12 League Championship home games.
