Red Sox Over/Under Win Total Odds
BOSTON, MA (The Spread) – After adding several new offensive pieces this past winter, how many games will the Red Sox win in 2015?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Red Sox have an over/under of 86.5 for number of wins in the 2015 regular season. They’re also 10/1 to win the World Series this upcoming season and are 11/2 co-favorites along with the Angels to take home the AL Pennant.
The Red Sox made a couple of splash signings this offseason, none bigger than the additions of former Dodger Hanley Ramirez and former Giant Pablo Sandoval. Both players signed multi-year deals and will be the faces of a rebuilt offense that still features second baseman Dustin Pedroia and designated hitter David Ortiz.
Boston also made a couple of smaller moves, signing reliever Alexi Ogando to a one-year contract, and also adding Justin Masterson and Craig Brewslow. The team also acquired catcher Ryan Hanigan from San Diego in exchange for Will Middlebrooks and nabbed Robbie Ross Jr. in a trade for Anthony Ranaudo.
