Mets’ 2015 MLB Season Odds
NEW YORK, NY (The Spread) – The Mets are being viewed as a possible sleeper in the National League but how many wins do oddsmakers believe they’ll rack up in 2015?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Mets’ over/under for wins has been set at 82.5, while their World Series odds are currently sitting at 28/1. They’re also 14/1 to win the NL Pennant and are 5/1 to win the NL East.
The Mets added some offense this offseason with the acquisition of former Twins and Rockies outfielder Michael Cuddyer, who hit 10 home runs a year ago despite only playing in 49 games. He’ll fit in nicely with a lineup that also includes David Wright, Curtis Granderson, Daniel Murphy and Lucas Duda.
Terry Collins also has one of the more intriguing starting rotations in all of baseball, especially if ace Matt Harvey successfully rebounds from 2014 Tommy John surgery. When healthy, he’ll join Bartolo Colon, Jon Niese, Zack Wheeler and Jacob deGrom, which should comprise a competitive rotation in 2015.
