2014 MLB Regular Season Win Totals
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The 2014 MLB regular season win totals have been released and only two teams have over/unders in the 90s.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Dodgers have a win total of 93.5 heading into the 2014 MLB regular season, while the Cardinals have a win total of 92.5. Those are the only two teams that have win totals in the 90s. On the flip side, the Cubs (69.5), Marlins (68.5) and Astros (62.5) have the lowest win totals.
Some of the other high totals include the Tigers (89.5), Red Sox (88.5) and A’s (88.5), while the Braves and Rays have an over/under of 88, respectively. The Angels, Yankees and Nationals also have win totals set at 87.5, respectively, while the Rangers’ o/u is 87 and the Pirates and Giants’ are 85.5, respectively.
The rest of the 2014 MLB win totals are as follows: Reds (83), Indians (81), Diamondbacks (80), Orioles (79.5), Padres (79), Mariners (79), Blue Jays (79), Brewers (78.5), Phillies (76.5), White Sox (75.5), Rockies (75.5), Mets (73.5) and Twins (70).
The Cardinals and Red Sox finished with the most wins in Major League Baseball last year with 97 apiece. The A’s and Braves finished with 96, respectively, while the Pirates racked up 94 wins and the Tigers had 93. At 51 the Astros had the fewest amount of wins in 2013, while the White Sox finished with 63 wins and the Marlins finished with just 62.
