Yankees 2014 MLB Prop Odds
NEW YORK, NY (The Spread) – The Yankees made a ton of moves this winter in efforts to bolster their lineup and rotation. Here’s a look at some prop odds centered on their key players.
How many total home runs, RBIs, runs and stolen bases will newly signed Jacoby Ellsbury have for the Yankees this season? According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the over/under for Ellsbury’s home run total is 14 while the o/u for his RBIs is 59 and his o/u for runs has been set on 99. He also has an over/under of 45 for number of total bases for 2014 and an over/under of .300 for batting average.
Carlos Beltran is also one of the newest Yankees and his home run total for 2014 has been set at 25, while his RBI total has been set at 85. New catcher Brian McCann’s over/under for home runs, meanwhile, is 25, while his over/under for RBIs is 79.
The Yankees didn’t just spend money on position players, as they broke the bank in order to sign Masahiro Tanaka from Japan. The over/under for number of wins for Tanaka this season has been set at 14, while the over/under for ERA is 3.60 and the over/under for total strikeouts is 165.
Fellow pitcher CC Sabathia has an over/under of 14 for number of wins in 2014 while he has an over/under of 175 for total strikeouts. Ivan Nova, meanwhile, has an over/under of 12 for total number of wins in 2014, while teammate Hiroki Kuroda has an o/u of 12 for number of victories.
