Sunday’s MLB Odds

The American League, the featured game of the day is a battle for the lead in the AL Central with the Detroit Tigers hosting the Chicago White Sox at 1:05PM ET (View Matchup). The Tigers have rookie Jacob Turner on the mound to face Philip Humber of the White Sox. According to oddsmakers, the Tigers are the slight favorite to win, as they have odds of -115, while the White Sox have a money line of +105. The over/under for the game has been set at 10 runs. Detroit has a ½ game lead on Chicago for first in the AL Central. Chicago is 50-44 overall and 26-22 on the road while Detroit is 51-44 overall and 27-21 at home. The Tigers have won four of their last five against the White Sox and 12 of their last 14 overall.
In the National League the featured game has the New York Mets hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at 1:10PM ET (View Matchup). The Mets have Jon Niese on the mound to face Nathan Eovaldi of the Dodgers. According to oddsmakers, the Mets are the slight favorite in this game, as they have odds of -135 to win. The Dodgers have been given a money line of +125 to win, while the over/under total has been set at 8 runs. Los Angeles is 51-44 overall and 22-24 on the road while New York is 47-47 overall and 26-22 at home. The Dodgers have won three straight over the Mets.
