The American League, the featured game of the day has the Baltimore Orioles hosting the red hot Oakland Athletics at 7:05PM ET (View Matchup). The Orioles have Zach Britton on the mound to face Jarrod Parker of the Athletics. According to oddsmakers, this game is even, as both teams have odds of -105 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8.5 runs. Baltimore is 52-47 on the season and 24-24 at home while Oakland is 53-45 overall and 24-24 on the road. Oakland has won seven of its last eight, but Baltimore has won two of the three meetings with the A’s this season.
In the National League the featured game has the Atlanta Braves hosting the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:35PM ET (View Matchup). The Phillies send Cole Hamels to the mound to face Ben Sheets of the Braves. According to oddsmakers, they also see this as an even game, giving both teams odds of -105 to win. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 7.5 runs. Atlanta is 54-44 overall and 24-24 at home while Philadelphia is 45-54 overall and 24-25 on the road. Atlanta has won its last three against the Phillies.
