San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Jarlín García recorded his first save of the season after getting the final out in Tuesday’s win over the Rockies. García had blown both of his previous save attempts. Not much heavy lifting required in this one, as Yunior Marte recorded the first two outs — while also putting two men on — before García came on to retire Ryan McMahon on a foul-out to polish off the 6-3 win. In 59 1/3 innings this season, García is pitching to a 3.19 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 50/17 K/BB ratio. Since getting lit up for five runs by the Dodgers, García has not allowed a run in any of his last four appearances.
Colorado Rockies DFS SPIN
C.J. Cron went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a two-run double in Tuesday’s loss to the Giants. Cron cracked a solo homer off Sean Hjelle in the bottom of the sixth inning and added a two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning. Despite the veteran slugger’s efforts, the Giants held the lead from the top of the third inning through to the end of the game. Across 546 at-bats this season, Cron is slashing a solid .267/.324/.489 with 29 homers and a career-best 101 RBI. The 32-year-old first baseman is now just one long ball shy of matching his personal best of 30 homers, which he set while playing with the Rays during the 2018 campaign.
