Detroit Tigers DFS SPIN
Riley Greene went 1-2, with a RBI single in the Tigers’ 5-2 loss to the Red Sox. Between inconsistency and underwhelming play, the Tigers have managed to remain competitive this season due to Greene’s presence in the lineup. After missing the entire month of June, Greene has reached base in 21 of his last 24 games, while producing a run in three straight. Greene has recorded a hit in three of four matchups with Boston this season, and he leads Detroit in batting (.302), with 10 home runs and 28 RBI through 80 games.
Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Masataka Yoshida went 0-4, with a SAC fly in the four-run victory over the Tigers. Yoshida has enjoyed multiple stretches of hitting this season, and after being hitless in game one, he may be due to collect one here on Saturday. Yoshida recorded a base knock in seven of the eight games prior to Friday’s contest, and he leads the Sox in batting (.301) and hits (119) during his first year in the majors.

Tigers vs. Red Sox MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Boston capitalized with the win and cover on Friday, and I don’t think we should go away from him. The Red Sox are a modest six games above .500, but they also play in the best division I sports, so if they want to remain in the postseason picture, these are home matchups they simply have to go out and win. I’ve admired Detroit’s scrappiness for years, but they’ve got clear limitations outside of Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson. Another strong showing from Brayan Bello, who’s pitched a quality start in eight of his last ten outings, feels likely and I like backing Boston again for game two.
