Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Randal Grichuk went 2-for-4 and doubled in the go-ahead run in the 10th as the Blue Jays edged the Yankees 3-2 on Thursday. Grichuk led off the 10th with pinch-runner Jonathan Davis on second and lined to right to put the Jays in front. With George Springer sidelined, both Grichuk and Rowdy Tellez are starters for now. Soon, though, there will only be room for one most days. Today definitely helped Grichuk's cause, particularly since Tellez finished 0-for-4.
New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Gary Sanchez went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk Thursday against the Blue Jays. Sanchez also threw out the only player who tried to steal against him, so it was a banner day for the much maligned former All-Star. The homer off Hyun-Jin Ryu actually gave the Yankees their only runs in 10 innings today.
Blue Jays vs. Yankees Betting Prediction
Despite beating the Yankees on Thursday afternoon, the Blue Jays are still just 27-58 in their last 85 games at Yankee Stadium. Toronto is also just 2-7 in its last nine road games dating back to last season, is 3-7 in its last 10 games as an underdog and is 2-6 in its last eight road games versus a right-handed starter. The Yankees, meanwhile, are 4-1 in their last five games following an off day, are 77-30 in their last 107 home games and is 45-12 in their last 57 home games with the total set at 9.0 and 10.5 runs.
