Cardinals vs. Cubs Game 3 Free Pick
The St. Louis Cardinals face a difficult task in Game 3 of the NLDS, as they’ll face Jake Arrieta and the Chicago Cubs at 6:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Cubs are -210 money line favorites over the Cardinals, who have odds of +190 to pull off the upset. With Arrieta facing Michael Wacha in the pitching matchup, the total currently sits at 7.5 runs.
The Cardinals’ offense lacks punch but they have enough hitters that can put together quality at bats to at least make Arrieta work. It’s not as if Wacha hasn’t succeeded in these situations either, as he was dominant in several starts in the 2013 postseason. The Cubs are 0-5 in their last five home playoff games and 1-7 in their last eight divisional playoff games. Look for the Cards to pull off a huge upset tonight.
