Liriano struggling to beat Reds
The Pirates dropped a game in Cincinnati on Monday and could have a difficult time beating the Reds tonight when Francisco Liriano takes the hill.
The Pirates are winless at 0-6 in Liriano’s last six road starts versus the Reds and are 0-4 in his last four starts overall versus Cincinnati. After losing yesterday, Pittsburgh is also 4-12 in its last 16 games versus Cincinnati overall and 2-8 in its last 10 road games against the Reds, who have played .500 ball over their last 10 games despite trying to run out the clock on their 2015 season.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Reds are +100 money line underdogs for tonight’s game versus the Pirates, who have odds of -110 to win. The total currently sits at 7 runs with Liriano set to face Raisel Iglesias in the pitching matchup.
