Arnold Palmer Invite Picks
The 2017 Arnold Palmer Invitational gets underway on Thursday morning. Here are some golfers we like to contend for the title.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Rory McIlroy is the favorite to win, as he is getting 7/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Henrik Stenson (8/1), Jason Day (14/1) and Hideki Matsuyama (14/1). The Arnold Palmer Invitational takes place from Thursday-Sunday from Bay Hill Course in Orlando, Florida.
Rory McIlroy has been playing well and ready to hit the US with a splash for 2017. He has finished in the top 10 in his last five tournaments, including one win. He has finishing in the top 10 in both events for 2017 and should be able to make a run at this championships this weekend as well.
Henrik Stenson is playing well as of late as well. He has finishing in the top 10 in seven of his last eight tournaments, including a seventh-place finish in last week’s tournament. Look for Stenson to be near the top of the leaderboard this weekend as well.
Rickie Fowler comes into this event with 16/1 odds. Fowler has finished 16th or better in his last three events, including a win in The Honda Classic. He also has placed in the top 10 in four of his last seven events. Fowler seems to be hitting another upswing in his play, so I expect him to compete with the leaders this weekend.
