The Group of 5 should have their own playoffs, 16 teams. How cool and fun would it be to see that? Tulane, JMU, Kennesaw, Western Michigan, UTSA, Jax State, Boise St, San D St. I think there would be plenty of interest on that. Schedule the games on Wednesdays and Thursdays. They would have to come up with a better title than “Group of 5 Champ” but I’m sure they could think of something. Division 1B Champ. whatever, but that would be a whole other tournament to watch.
