The Nittany Lions fired head coach James Franklin during the season, which led to Terry Smith taking over as interim head coach. Matt Campbell will take over next season.
Co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Ty Howle has also been hired as the offensive coordinator at Virginia Tech.
Meanwhile, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles is negotiating his buyout and will head to Tennessee.
Finally, offensive line coach Phil Trautwein is set to become Florida’s next offensive line coach.
