Chicago has been playing great at home especially, but with a big game for both clubs. I don't think Chicago should be this big of a favorite.I'll gladly take the points, as I think we see a superior effort from Philly with a chance to win this one. This should be close throughout and decided late in the game.

The Lakers have been a bit complacent in a few recent games with lackluster wins over lousy teams leading to a 2-4 ATS record in the past six games. This game however will be a statement opportunity with the current #2 seed Nuggets visiting the Staples Center in a possible Western Conference Finals preview. Denver beat the Lakers in late February and this will be a key match-up for Los Angeles as they had won the previous nine meetings between these teams, only failing to cover once in that span despite several significant spreads. Denver has won eight in a road but most of those games came at home and against non-playoff contenders. The Nuggets had to play a tougher than expected game last night against Oklahoma City and this could be a daunting second straight game in as many nights. Defensively the Lakers have allowed ten fewer points per game than the Nuggets and Andrew Bynum is expected to play tonight. The home team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings between these teams and when properly motivated the Lakers are still clearly the best team in the league.
