Jamie Tursini

Philadelphia at Chicago
Play: Philadelphia +6

Philly has lost 3 straight and are trying to capture the #5 seed in the Conference. Chicago is looking to get into the playoffs, and should get there. They are within 2.5 games of Philly. The Sixers have won 2 of 3 this season in the series, and have won 3 straight at Chicago. We Have a Philly team trying to straighten out as they head into the playoffs and really are desperate for a win. Chicago has been playing great at home especially, but with a big game for both clubs. I don't think Chicago should be this big of a favorite.I'll gladly take the points, as I think we see a superior effort from Philly with a chance to win this one. This should be close throughout and decided late in the game.

Joe Nelson

Denver at LA Lakers
Play: LA Lakers -8.5

The Lakers have been a bit complacent in a few recent games with lackluster wins over lousy teams leading to a 2-4 ATS record in the past six games. This game however will be a statement opportunity with the current #2 seed Nuggets visiting the Staples Center in a possible Western Conference Finals preview. Denver beat the Lakers in late February and this will be a key match-up for Los Angeles as they had won the previous nine meetings between these teams, only failing to cover once in that span despite several significant spreads. Denver has won eight in a road but most of those games came at home and against non-playoff contenders. The Nuggets had to play a tougher than expected game last night against Oklahoma City and this could be a daunting second straight game in as many nights. Defensively the Lakers have allowed ten fewer points per game than the Nuggets and Andrew Bynum is expected to play tonight. The home team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings between these teams and when properly motivated the Lakers are still clearly the best team in the league.

Vernon Croy

Vernon Croy's **60 Unit NHL HAT TRICK** (3 Top NHL Plays) GUARANTEED!
Montreal Canadiens vs. Boston Bruins (Apr 9 7:05 PM)
Montreal Canadiens (145)
20 Units Take Montreal ML, We are getting solid value here tonight with the Canadiens and this pick falls into one of my top NHL systems. The Canadiens are 11-6 in their last 17 games revenging a home loss against an opponent and they are 10-5 after scoring 1 goal or less in their previous game. Take Montreal as my NHL Smash for Thursday night.

Florida Panthers vs. Atlanta Thrashers (Apr 9 7:05 PM)
Florida Panthers (-155)
20 Units, Take Florida ML, This pick falls into one of my top NHL systems and the Panthers are the better overall team here Thursday night. Florida's powerplay has been on fire converting at 27.8% over their last 5 games while their penalty kill has been solid with opponents converting at just 7.1% against them. The Thrashers powerplay is converting at just 7.7% over their last 5 games and they have struggled killing penalties at home this season with opponents converting at 24.6% against them.

New Jersey Devils vs. Ottawa Senators (Apr 9 7:35 PM)
New Jersey Devils (-105)
20 Units, Take New Jersey ML, This pick falls into one of my top NHL systems and the Devils are the overall superior team here Thursday night even against a Ottawa team that has been playing their best hockey of the season. The Devils are a perfect 5-0 in their last 5 games against the Senators including a 4-1 win in their last trip to Ottawa. The Devils are 9-2 in their last 11 games against a Northeast division opponent and they are 7-2 in their last 9 games after a loss by 3 or more goals.
