The champion, Pacquiao (53-3-2) came in at 143 pounds for this 144-pound contest while Marquez (53-5-1) came in at 142 pounds. Both fighters looked confident and healthy. Neither fan looked to be fatigued from the weigh-in. The two had a very calm and professional stare down following the weigh-ins and will now take to the ring on Saturday night at 9PM ET from the MGM Grand live on HBO PPV.
Pacquiao opened last week with odds of -1100 to win the bout, but that money line has since dropped by quite a margin, as it now sits at -800. Marquez opened at +650, but is now at +500 to beat Pacquiao.
This is the third fight between these two boxers. In the first meeting, the two fought to a draw and in the second meeting, Pacquiao won by split decision. Marquez has certainly been close to a competitive equal for Pacquiao in the past, but fighting at a bigger weight class has not typically served him well.
WBO Welterweight Championship Bout Odds – Saturday, November 12

Juan Manuel Marquez +500
