Pacquiao vs. Marquez Prop Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – Every big boxing matchup features plenty of prop odds to consider. Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez is no different.

Pacquiao (53-3-2) is defending his WB0 Welterweight Championship in a 144-pound contest against Marquez (53-5-1) and Pacquiao is the favorite to win the contest with odds of -800 while Marquez has a money line of +500. The two will face off Saturday night at 9PM ET from the MGM Grand live on HBO PPV.
The over/under for rounds has currently been set at 10.5. These two have met two previous times and both of those fights went the distance. Oddsmakers don’t like Marquez fighting at a heavier weight than he is used to, but he still went the distance in a welterweight fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in September of 2009. Marquez has won by knockout in the ninth and first round respectively over his last two fights while Pacquiao hasn’t had a fight end prior to the 10th round since his second-round KO of Ricky Hatton back in May of 2009.
One of the intriguing prop odds is in knockdowns. The odds for at least one knockdown in the fight is -400. In the two previous fights there has been at least one knockdown. In the first there were three and in the second, there was one. Pacquiao has gotten Marquez on the ground in both fights, but perhaps there will be a different strategy this time around. Odds of no knockdowns in the fight is +250.
