Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The time is almost here as Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally meet in the boxing ring this Saturday. Here is an updated look at the odds for the bout.
Floyd Mayweather is 47-0 in his career with 26 KO’s. Manny Pacquiao is 57-5-2 in his career with 38 KO’s. This fight takes place on Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with the Unified WBA (Super), WBC, WBO and The Ring welterweight championships up for grabs.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Mayweather Jr. is still favored to win the bout, as his money line is currently at -225 to win. Pacquiao comes in with odds of +175 to prevail.
Both men seem to be trying to peak for their fight, as it is the most anticipated boxing match in quite some time. While Mayweather has never lost, Pacquiao has had some tough times, losing a pair of bouts in 2012. He has since won three straight, all by decision. Mayweather’s last five fights have all come by decision as well. Mayweather is strong at counter-punching and he likes to use his speed to work away at his opponents. Pacquiao is more aggressive and believes he has more power with his strikes. The key to this fight will be Mayweather’s speed vs. Pacquiao’s speed and who can beat the other to the punch.
