(The Spread) – Though the series is tied at two games apiece, there’s no denying the fact that the Boston Bruins have the advantage in the Stanley Cup Finals when it comes to momentum heading into the final three games.

In Games 3 and 4 the Bruins scored eight and four goals, respectively, essentially shattering any roll that Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo had established over the course of the postseason.
Now, heading into Game 5 in Vancouver, all eyes will be between the pipes to see if Luongo can bounce back from consecutive annihilations.
Despite their recent slide, the fact that the pivotal game will take place in British Columbia has tipped the scales in Vancouver’s favor, the Stanley Cup odds point to the Canucks as -175 favorites according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.
When at the top of his game, Luongo is more than capable of matching Bruins netminder Tim Thomas in the crease allowing the star-studded Canucks to overmatch Boston offensively. Unfortunately Luongo’s inconsistency (nothing new for Vancouver fans) has reared its head, threatening their very chance at a Cup.
