MINNEAPOLIS, MN (The Spread) – Adrian Peterson returned to practice this week and reportedly hasn’t shown any signs of rust.
Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune noted that Peterson “seems to be making a smooth transition back into the mix with his teammates” after rejoining the team earlier this week.
“He’s been out of football for almost a whole year, but a guy like him, though … I haven’t been around him in six months. I didn’t know he was going to come back in this type of shape,” Captain Munnerlyn said. “He’s in unbelievable shape, like he never lost a step. And he’s out to prove a point.”
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Vikings are 50/1 long shots to win the 2016 Super Bowl and are 25/1 to win the NFC Conference championship this season.
