The Bucks will attempt to defeat the Pelicans for just the third time in a decade tonight when the two teams clash in Milwaukee at 7:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bucks are now 5.5-point favorites versus the Pelicans after opening as a 5-point fave. As for the total, the number opened at 211.5 but has been bet down to 209.5.
Milwaukee has lost 17 of 19 against New Orleans, which includes six straight while allowing an average of 10.5 points on 48.7 percent shooting. More important to bettors, the Pelicans have covered the spread in eight of the last 10 meetings between these two teams and are also 4-1 against the number in their last five trips to Milwaukee.
Anthony Davis is averaging 28.5 points, 5.0 assists and 2.8 blocks in his last four games versus the Bucks. He had 43 points, 10 boards and six assists in a 114-103 win in his most recent visit to Milwaukee on March 9, 2015. Assuming he tears up the Bucks again, the Pelicans should stay within the 5.5 points tonight.
