(The Spread) – The Auburn Tigers won the 2011 BCS National Championship and just took a big step towards possibly winning another title in the next couple of years.

On Wednesday, Cyrus Kouandjio said he would sign a national letter of intent with Auburn on the first day players were eligible to formally commit to the college of their choice. His decision gives Auburn the best offensive line class in the nation after the Tigers already landed the No. 2 offensive tackle in Christian Westerman, the No. 1 center in Reese Dismukes and the No. 8 guard in Thomas O’Reilly.
The Tigers also signed four-star safety prospect Erique Florence. According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, Auburn is 70/1 to win the 2012 BCS National Championship.
In other signing news, top-ranked linebacker Tony Steward signed his letter of intent with Clemson, which also signed four-star outside linebacker Stephone Anthony. The Tigers also added prospects Sammy Watkins (the 39th-ranked player in the country and the No. 4 wide receiver) and Mike Bellamy, who is No. 72 overall and the No. 6 running back.
Florida State added defensive tackle Tim Jernigan, while Tod Peat Jr. signed four-star defensive tackle Todd Peat Jr. Three-star outside linebacker Lamar Dawson and four-star offensive guard Aundrey Walker are heading to USC.
