LONDON, England (TheSpread) – One sport that the United States isn’t expected to have much impact on at the Olympics is Women’s Field Hockey. Here is a look at the odds for this event.

According to oddsmakers, Holland is the favorite to win women’s field hockey at the Olympics, as they have odds of +160. Other short odds to win are Argentina (+275) and Great Britain (+450).
Holland won the gold in the last Olympics and won silver in 2004 while taking bronze in 2000 and 1996. Holland has won the gold medal at the Olympics in women’s field hockey two times.
Argentina has won the bronze in the last two Olympic games and also won silver back in 2000. Argentina has never won the gold medal in this event.
Great Britain is the home country in this event. They have yet to win a gold medal in this sport, but claimed bronze back in 1992. They also placed fourth in 1988 and 1996.
