The 2010 Winter Olympics officially kick off Friday, and he is a look at the odds for which country will walk out of

is favored to walk out with the most hardware.

has odds of 1/1 to win the most medals according to online sports book Brobury Sports. Other short odds to win are
Germany (21/20),
Canada (3/2), and

(19/4).

The
United States hasn’t finished better than second in the overall medal count in the last four Olympics, finishing runner-up to

in both 2006 and 2002. With an injury to Lindsey Vonn, one of the athletes considered to win multiple medals for the

, their medal count could take a hit.

has won the last three Olympic medal counts and also took second in 1994.


Canada
is the host country, so a little home-field advantage could be a boost for it.
