F1 Italian Grand Prix Odds
Lewis Hamilton has been established as the favorite to win the 2010 Italian Grand Prix this Sunday, September 12. But who is Hamilton’s biggest competition? Read on to find out.
Hamilton has won three times this season (Turkey, Canada, Belgium), which trails only Mark Webber, who has four wins (Spain, Monaco, Great Britain, Hungary). Hamilton’s latest victory came last week when he led for 44 laps in Belgium and won with a time of 1:29:04.268.
Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made Hamilton +175 on the money line, while Webber is +500. Other drivers with comparable odds are Fernando Alonso at +350, Sebastien Vettel at +400 and Jenson Button at +800. He also was the runner up to defending Italian Grand Prix champ Rubens Barrichello, who is surprisingly +10000 on the money line.
Alonso won the first Formula 1 race of the year on March 14 in Bahrain and then emerged victorious again in Germany on July 25. Vettel has won twice, once in Malaysia on April 4 and once in Europe on July 27, while Button won in Australia on March 28 and in China on April 18.
