Spain
is considered the favorite to win and has been given 15/8 odds win according to the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are
Holland (2/1),
Germany (2/1), and

Uruguay
(12/1).


Spain
has never won the World Cup, and their best finish in the tournament was fourth place back in 1950.
Spain went 2-1-0 in group play to win Group H and then followed up with wins over
Portugal and

Paraguay
to reach the semifinals. The win over

score in the closing minutes to get a 1-0 victory.


Holland
