AT&T National Picks
The 2010 AT&T National golf tournament begins on Thursday and our team of writers and handicappers have three suggested plays for the tournament.
Tiger Woods 7/2
Woods showed some signs of life at the U.S. Open by finishing near the top despite continuing to struggle with the accuracy of his tee shots. Now, in a tournament lacking a lot of top golfers, Woods has a chance to win even if he is not on top of his game. Normally in this situation, Woods would be about a 2/1 favorite, so this weekend gives you a chance to score a bigger payout with a victory.
Jim Furyk 12/1
Furyk enters the tournament as one of the best in the world given the talent of the field. Furyk has had a solid 2010 thus far with two wins and he finished seventh in this event last year and third in 2008. Furyk is a solid play this weekend.
Ryan Moore 40/1
Moore finished 11th in this event a year ago to go along with three top 10’s in 2010. With the field not overly strong, you need to look for a dark horse to take a chance on and Moore is that dark horse. He has successful history at this course and has a solid 2010. He is worth a shot for a big payout.
The 2010 AT&T National will take place at Aronimink in Newton Square, Pennsylvania and it starts on Thursday, July 1.
