Tiger Woods is back and better than ever. His first major event will be the 2009 World Golf Championships-Accenture tournament, which will run from Wednesday, February 25 to Sunday, March 1.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBG Global have made Tiger Woods a 5/1 favorite to win the 2009 World Golf Championships-Accenture. Woods won the event last year, as well as in 2003 and 2004. He also finished second to Darren Clarke in 2000.
Oddsmakers have listed Phil Mickelson as a 14/1 long shot, as well as Sergio Garcia at 16/1. Henrik Stenson, who won the 2007 World Golf Championships-Accenture, is listed as an 18/1 long shot while 2006 winner Geoff Ogilvy is listed at 20/1.
