The 2009 NFL Scouting Combine is set to kickoff with players running through drills and workouts for an entire week in hopes to improve their draft stock.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have set prop odds for the rookie combine, so let’s check them out.

One of the more popular tested workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine is the 40-Yard Dash. Oddsmakers from Sportsbook.com have established the over/under on a player running the 40-yard dash at 4.32.

Bet the NFL Scouting Combine

Another popular workout is the bench press, where prospects are required to bench 225 pounds for as many reps as they can muster. Oddsmakers have set the over/under on any player benching reps of 39.5. Offensive and defensive linemen generally do the best in the bench press, so an over wager of 39.5 might be a solid bet. Oddsmakers have also set the over/under on any player doing the vertical jump at 38.5.

Oddsmakers have also established individual player prop odds for the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine, including which quarterback will run the fastest 40 yard dash time (Pat White –600 ad Chase Daniel +350), as well as which running back will run the fastest 40-yard dash time (Chris Wells +130 and Knowshon Moreno –160).

Iowa running back Shonn Greene has –125 odds to beat Ohio State’s Chris Wells (-105) on the bench press, while Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree (-200) is the favorite to do more bench presses than Ohio State wideout Brian Robiskie (+160).
