Macho Again Odds
Even though oddsmakers from Online Sports Book Bodog have established Macho Again at a rather long 25/1 odds to win, the thoroughbred could surprise at the 133rd running of the Preakness Stakes if his success at his last race is any indication.
Macho Again will start Saturday’s race from the number 1 post position after the lucky draw on Wednesday. Securing the number one position may be just the break he needs to go from competitor to contender.
Most handicappers agree that despite Macho Again’s inexperience his stock is definitely on the rise at the right time.
Macho Again defeated Kodiak Kowboy at the Churchill Downs Derby Trial races on April 26. He’s failed to win a graded stakes, but many observers note that he’s maturing. While the Preakness Stakes might be a tough task for Macho Again to win, a good showing might not be out of the question, either.
