According to a media report, free agent quarterback Brett Favre will meet with Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress about possibly making a comeback.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.COM have made the Vikings a 21/1 long shot to win the 2009 Super Bowl. But if they add Favre, that number could drop significantly.
The Vikings already have one of the better offensive lines in the NFC and one of the best defensive lines in all of football. They also have a top playmaker in running back Adrian Peterson and if they could add a veteran quarterback like Favre, Minnesota would then become the favorites in the NFC North, even with the Chicago Bears’ addition of Jay Cutler.
