Rangers manager Bruce Bochy told reporters Tuesday that Jacob deGrom (elbow) could return in “another 2-3 weeks.” There hasn’t been anything definitive from the Rangers over the last few weeks regarding deGrom’s potential return, but it sounds like he could return sometime in late May or early June. The dynamic 34-year-old fantasy ace, who has been on the shelf since late April due to right forearm tightness, has resumed playing catch, but has yet to progress to facing hitters.
Seattle Mariners DFS SPIN
Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Tuesday that Easton McGee (forearm) will undergo an MRI in a few weeks to determine whether he’ll start a throwing program. McGee landed on the injured list at the end of April with a right forearm strain following his major league debut and will need a couple more weeks off before the club determines whether he’ll resume throwing. There is no timetable for his return at the moment.
