College Football Week 8 Parlay Picks
Three college football playoff hopefuls, including a pair unbeaten squads, highlight my trio of Week 8 NCAAF college football parlay picks, for Saturday’s games.
That’s right collegiate gridiron gaming enthusiasts. If you like putting wagers together in an effort to increase your chances of cashing in big, then you’re going to love the ‘trifecta’ of Week 8 college football picks that you’re about to get.

No. 17 South Florida Bulls (6-0) at Tulane Green Wave (3-3)
If you haven’t seen unbeaten South Florida this season, then you should know that Charlie Strong’s new team is very, very good. Even if they’re not getting a bunch of respect because they play in a mediocre American Athletic Conference.
Still, the offensively-explosive Bulls are the ‘super easy’ pick in Week 8 against a Tulane team that is as mediocre in every way as they showed in their uninspiring 23-10 Week 7 loss to Florida International last weekend.
South Florida beat the hell out of conference rival Cincinnati in Saturday’s 33-3 smackdown and extended their streak of scoring at least 30 points to a stunning 23 games.
The Bulls are so much better than the Green Wave on both sides of the ball that I’m a bit shocked they’re not three-touchdown road faves in this one.
No matter though, with South Florida going 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games and a consistent 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 conference games.
I believe they’re locks to take out a Tulane team that is just 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games against a team with a winning road record.
Keep it simple, South Florida easily covers to take another step toward the national top ten!
Pick: South Florida -11.5
Indiana Hoosiers (3-3) at No. 18 Michigan State Spartans (5-1)
No. 18 Michigan State wasn’t really on anyone’s map of national title contenders before the season began, but the Spartans keep finding ways to win games. Even though they’ve made an art of ‘winning ugly’ this season.
After getting past Minnesota 30-27 this past weekend, Michigan State is the easy pick to get past an Indiana Hoosiers.
The Hoosiers had a “breakthrough” moment in their 27-20 overtime home loss to No. 19 Michigan on Saturday. Unfortunately, they just don’t have enough talent on either side of the ball to beat the Spartans.
Michigan State has an excellent defense that limits the opposition to just 18.2 points per game to rank 18th nationally.
The Spartans have held four of their six opponents this season to 14 points or less.
Three of those opponents to an identical 10 points including Michigan and Iowa. The Spartans win and narrowly cover in another ugly one!
Pick: Michigan State -7.5
No. 19 Michigan Wolverines (5-1) at No. 2 Penn State Nittany Lions (6-0)
Let me just say, that I’ve been waiting for this game ever since Penn State got robbed out of a spot in last season’s four-team playoff.
The 19th-ranked Wolverines got past Indiana 27-20 in overtime last weekend, but they weren’t really impressive. However, they did end up getting the win just one week after suffering a discouraging 14-10 home loss to Michigan State.
Now, Michigan takes on a second-ranked Penn State team that is well-rested following their Week 7 bye. Not only that but, they’re facing the team that is looking for some serious payback after last season’s embarrassing 49-10 road loss a year ago.
That loss essentially kept the Nittany Lions out of the four-team College Football Playoff last season.
This season, Penn State is the far more explosive team as they average 12.5 points per game more than Michigan. That and, they’re simultaneously leading the nation in fewest points allowed (9/0 ppg) as compared to Michigan’s 14.7 points per game allowed (8th).
The Nittany Lions have a pair of legitimate Heisman trophy candidates in quarterback Trace McSorley and particularly running back Saquon Barkley.
Most experts agree that Barkley is the most dangerous player in all of college football. One who’s a sure-fire top-five pick in next year’s NFL draft.
Michigan is just 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games while Penn State has compiled a nearly perfect 9-0-1 ATS mark in their last 10 home games.
There’s really no other way for me to say it college football bettors.
I smell a big-time beatdown coming for No. 19 Michigan at the hands of No. 2 Penn State.
