Stros favored to win series vs. Rangers
HOUSTON, TX (The Spread) – The Astros are the hottest team in baseball, have won 10 straight games and are favored to win this week’s series versus the Rangers.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Astros are 10/19 favorites to win their series with the Rangers, who are 31/20 to upset Houston. Game 1 of the series starts tonight and runs through May 6.
In the pitching matchups, ace Dallas Keuchel will face Ross Detwiler and on Tuesday, Scott Feldman will square off against Wandy Rodriguez. In the potential rubber matchup on Wednesday, Samuel Deduno will take on Colby Lewis.
The under is 7-1 in the last eight meetings between these two teams while the Rangers are 45-20 in their last 65 games versus the Astros. That said, Texas is only 2-7 in its last nine games in Houston and the Astros are 4-1 in Keuchel’s last five starts versus the Rangers.
