Dodgers’ 2015 MLB Season Odds
LOS ANGELES, CA (The Spread) – The Dodgers have won over 90 games in each of the last two seasons but will they accomplish the feat again in 2015?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Dodgers’ over/under total for wins in 2015 has been set at 92.5. They’re also 17/2 to win the World Series this season, are 9/2 to win the NL pennant and are 1/2 favorites to win the NL West Division.
The Dodgers made a pair of moves this offseason that involved key pieces from previous seasons. They traded Matt Kemp, Tim Federowicz and cash to the Padres in exchange for catcher Yasmani Grandal, Joe Wieland and Zach Eflin. The Dodgers then sent Eflin and Tom Windle to the Phillies in exchange for shortstop Jimmy Rollins.
Los Angeles also added pitchers Brandon Beachy, Joel Peralta, Brandon McCarthy and Brett Anderson to a staff that features Clayton Kershaw, Zack Grinke, Hyun-Jin Ryu and closer Kenley Jansen. Despite watching their most hated rival the Giants win their third World Series in five years, the Dodgers are once again the clear favorites to win the division and challenge for the pennant.
