(The Spread) – Which slugger will hit the longest home run in tonight’s Home Run Derby? Let’s check out the odds.
Oddsmakers currently favor Detroit Tigers’ slugger Prince Fielder at 13/4 to hit the longest home run in Round 1 of tonight’s Derby. Toronto Blue Jays’ Jose Bautista is 7/2, the Los Angeles Angels’ youngster is 4/1 and New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano is 11/2.
Both Carolos Beltran of the St. Louis Cardinals and Carlos Gonzalez of the Colorado Rockies are 6/1 to hit the longest home run in Round 1 tonight, respectively, while Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers is also 6/1 and Pittsburgh Pirates centerfielder Andrew McCutchen is 9/1.

Bautista is favored to win the Home Run Derby outright at 15/4 while Fielder and Cano are both 4/1, respectively. Trumbo is 9/2, Beltran and Kemp are 7/1, respectively, while Gonzalez is 15/2. McCutchen is the long shot to win tonight at 9/1.
Bautista is also favored to hit the most home runs in Round 1 tonight at 7/2 odds, while Fielder is 4/1 and Cano is 9/2. Beltran, Gonzalez, Trumbo and Kemp are all 11/2 to hit the most home runs in Round 1, respectively, while McCutchen is 7/1.
