Tuesday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – Several new series start on Tuesday in Major League Baseball, including the matchup between the O’s and the red-hot Red Sox.
The Red Sox have all but erased their disastrous start to the season, winning five in a row and eight of their last nine. They’ll continue their nine-game road swing on Tuesday when they open a three-game set in Baltimore.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the visiting Red Sox –127 money line favorites over the 8-12 Orioles, who are +120 on the ML. The over/under total for this game has opened at 9 runs and the first pitch is set for 7:05PM ET.
According to latest MLB trends, the Red Sox are 4-1 in Clay Buchholz’s last five starts versus the Orioles, and 69-26 in their last 95 games against Baltimore. They’re also 71-32 in their last 103 road meetings with the O’s, while the over is 5-1-1 in Buchholz’s last seven starts versus Baltimore.
In other action on the diamond tonight, the Yankees are –130 on the money line for Game 2 of their series with the White Sox (+122). The Indians are also –150 on the MLB against the visiting Royals (+141), while Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers are –134 on the road against the Marlins (+126).
