Linebacker David Harris (back) did not practice for the Jets but on the positive side, cornerback Darrelle Revis appears to be fully recovered from his hamstring injury. C.C. Brown (knee) did not practice this week, while Louis Delmas (ankle), Brandon Pettigrew (ankle) and Kevin Smith (knee) were all limited for the Lions. That said, running back Jahvid Best (toe) and Calvin Johnson (shoulder) practiced in full.
The Dolphins and Ravens are both relatively healthy, although Baltimore’s Todd Heap has been dealing with a back injury and Ed Reed is still battling an ankle injury that cost him the first month and a half of the season.
The Patriots will once again be without Fred Taylor (toe) but Tom Brady (shoulder) and Deion Branch (hamstring) are fine. For the Browns, Jake Delhomme (ankle) won’t play and DT Shaun Rogers (ankle) may not either.
The Chargers will likely be without kicker Nate Kaeding (groin) again this week but that’s not the biggest injury news coming out of San Diego these days. Tight end Antonio Gates did not practice this week due to a toe injury and could be sidelined for the Bolts’ game at Houston this Sunday. For the Texans, Owen Daniels (hamstring) did not practice and neither did Andre Johnson (ankle) and Mario Williams (hip). Johnson will likely sit this weekend.
The Bears are healthy outside of Lance Briggs’ nagging ankle injury and Roberto Garza’s troubling knee. But the Bills will likely be without Eric Wood (knee) and Demetrius Bell (knee).
Beanie Wells’ knee is acting up again, although he should play this week for the Cardinals. Brett Favre is once again question with various alignments and Pery Harvin (ankle) hasn’t been able to practice. If Favre can’t go, Tarvaris Jackson will make his first start of the year.
Earnest Graham (hamstring) and rookie Gerald McCoy (neck) did not practice this week for the Bucs, who are at Atlanta. The Falcons could once again be without rookie first round pick Sean Weatherspoon (knee) and Ovie Mughelli is battling a hamstring injury. The good news for the Falcons is that Dunta Robinson (head) should return this week after missing Week 7’s win over the Bengals.
The Saints will once again be without Reggie Bush (fibula) and more than likely Pierre Thomas (ankle) too. Tracy Porter (knee) was able to practice though, as was Marques Colston (hand). There’s a good chance that DeAngelo Williams will once again miss this week as he battles a foot injury.
The Giants are relatively healthy outside of Osi Umenyiora’s knee injury. The Seahawks, however, will be without quarterback Matt Hasselbeck (head) and probably first round pick Russell Okung (ankle). Receivers Golden Tate (ankle) and Mike Williams (knee) both did not practice this week.
For the Colts, Joseph Addai (neck) did not practice and neither did Anthony Gonzalez (knee), Ryan Diem (quad) and Robert Matthews (knee). Michael Vick will return for the eagles, however, and DeSean Jackson (concussion) has been able to practice as well.
Dexter McCluster was limited but did practice for the Chiefs this week despite having an ankle injury. Nnamdi Asmugha did not practice for the Raiders and an ankle injury will likely hold him out a couple of weeks.
The Cowboys will once again be without Tony Romo (shoulder) and there’s a chance Felix Jones (ankle) won’t suit up either. For the Packers, Chad Clifton (hamstring), Nick Collins (knee), Cullen Jenkins (calf), Clay Matthews (shin), Mark Tauscher (shoulder), Donald Driver (quad) and Charles Woodson (toe) are all banged up. Outside of Driver, however, they should all play.
