Detroit reinstates pitcher Bonderman

DETROIT (AP) -Detroit pitcher Jeremy Bonderman, recalled from the 15-day disabled list, was scheduled to start Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels.
Bonderman, out since May 9 with a blister on his right middle finger, missed two starts. The right-hander (2-0) leads the team with 40 strikeouts.
On Tuesday, the Tigers sent rookie left-handed pitcher Andrew Miller to Double-A Erie. Miller threw six scoreless innings and earned a win in his first major league start May 18 against St. Louis.
