KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) -Tampa Bay leadoff man Rocco Baldelli left Tuesday night’s game against the Texas Rangers with a left hamstring strain after grounding out in the bottom of the first inning.
The center fielder, mired in a 1-for-40 skid that’s dropped his average to .204, appeared to be favoring his left leg running up the first base line. The Devil Rays said the injury will be re-evaluated on Wednesday.
