Mets 2B Valentin leaves in 4th inning

WASHINGTON (AP) -New York Mets second baseman Jose Valentin left Saturday night’s game against the Washington Nationals in the fourth inning with right knee discomfort.
Valentin left the field with one out in the bottom of the fourth, replaced by Damion Easley.
It wasn’t clear how Valentin got hurt.
The Mets said he was being evaluated.
