Saint Vigeur Belmont Stakes Odds
ELMONT, NY (The Spread) – The 2013 Belmont Stakes will take place from Belmont Park this Saturday and the horse with the longest odds is Saint Vigeur.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Saint Vigeur has the worst odds to win the 2013 Belmont Stakes at 40/1, while Always in a Tiz, Frac Daddy, Giant Finish, Incognito, Midnight Taboo and Vyjack are all 30/1 long shots, respectively. Will Take Charge and Unlimited Budget are both 20/1, respectively.
After winning the Kentucky Derby last month, Orb is the favorite to win this weekend’s Belmont Stakes at 3/1, while Revolutionary has the next best odds at 4/1. Oxbow, who won the Preakness Stakes two weeks ago, is 6/1 while Palace Malice is 10/1 and Freedom Child is 12/1. Golden Soul is also 12/1, while Overanalyze is 15/1.
Saint Vigeur has yet to run in a Grade 1 stakes race in his career. He finished fifth in the Grade 3 Pilgrim on October 8 last year, which was the first race of his career. He also placed second in the Grade 2 Peter Pan Stakes on May 11, which was the only other graded stakes race that he’s run in.
In his other starts, he placed second at a Maiden Special Weight on November 11 of last year and won a MSW on February 19. He also won an Allowance on April 11 of this year.
The 2013 Belmont Stakes will take place from Belmont Park on Saturday, June 8.
