American Idol Season 11 Odds to Win
(The Spread) – Oddsmakers have updated the odds for American Idol 11, where Phillip Phillips finds himself favored to win.
Phillips is 7/2 to win this season of American Idol, which premiered on FOX on January 18, 2012. Jessica Sanchez has the next best odds at 4/1 while Colton Dixon is 7/1 and Shannon Magrane is 15/2. Elise Testone is 8/1 to win while Joshua Ledet is 9/1 and Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine are 10/1, respectively.
The mid-range long shots include Heejun Han at 12/1, Jermaine Jones at 20/1, and DeAndre Brackensick and Erika Van Pelt at 25/1, respectively. The long-shot to win American Idol Season 11 is Jeremy Rosado, who is currently 30/1.

Ten singers advanced on Thursday, March 1 and six of the remaining 15 semi-finalists were selected by judges to compete in the Wild Card round. That’s where Jen Hirsh, Brielle Von Hugel and Reed Grimm were all eliminated while Rosado, Brackensick and Van Pelt advanced.
American Idol 11 airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00PM ET and is hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have returned to judge the competition and the show has kept the same format as American Idol Season 10.
