CHICAGO (AP) -The Blackhawks recalled defenseman Danny Richmond from the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL on Sunday.
The 23-year-old was expected to be in Chicago's lineup Sunday night against the Los Angeles Kings.
Richmond had one goal, eight assists and 85 penalty minutes in 23 games for the IceHogs this season.
The native Chicagoan was acquired by the Blackhawks from the Carolina Hurricanes last year for defenseman Anton Babchuk and a swap of fourth-round draft picks.
Richmond has appeared in 43 games for the Blackhawks over the last three seasons, getting three assists and 73 penalty minutes.
